It’s BBQ Season! A time where we soak up the beautiful summer sun and showcase our skills by indulging in a great Australian tradition-the barbeque!

Why not get a jump start to the season and pick up some great skills by attending one of our BBQ Guru Cooking Lessons.

Through a series of lessons, our experienced BBQ Gurus will demonstrate how to cook the most succulent meals and share hints and tips to help you become a legend in your backyard.

You can attend as many lessons as you like and what’s more they’re free, so grab a mate and head into one of our stores!

Cooking lessons will commence Saturday 8th November through to 23rd November 2008.

Our cooking lessons will be based on three sessions:

How to cook the perfect steak and sausages

You can’t go past a favourite! In this lesson, we’ll share some great hints and tips on creating the perfect steak and sausages no matter how you like it!

  • Learn how to cook steak for those that like it rare medium or well done.
  • The secrets to getting succulent sausages
  • How to create the best caramelized onions to go with your steak and sausages

How to cook the perfect pizza

Ever thought of cooking pizza in your barbeque? After this session you’ll become a gourmet pizza chef at home!

  • Learn how to create gourmet style pizza at home such as Chorizzo & Mozarella
  • How to create a meal in minutes with our BBQ Chicken Pizza

Duration approx 60 minutes

How to smoke and roast

Aussies love a good roast! In this lesson, we’ll show you how to keep the heat out of the kitchen in the summer months by preparing a succulent roast using your barbeque.

  • Learn how to add gourmet flavour without fuss using simple smoking chips
  • Understand how the hood can cut your cooking time
  • Create moist pumpkin to go with your roast for a traditional baked dinner.
